Cocina Abierta

Cocina Abierta is a spatial experiment that explores the potential of possible forms of sharing through space. Through the communal act of cooking and eating together, we aim to craft a tangible reality for fostering a culturally inclusive society.

Cocina Abierta stands for “open kitchen” and consists of a temporary kitchen installed in the public area of Lapinlahti, Helsinki. In this kitchen, ethnoculturally diverse groups of people are invited to share their favorite recipes to strengthen community spirit and sense of belonging.
